Would you like to improve your Swiss German language skills in a friendly and supportive environment? The Swiss German Talking Club is here for you!
What the club offers:
- Regular Swiss German conversation classes: take part in one-hour conversation classes up to four times a month. (occasionally, calls may be canceled due to national holidays, school holidays or unforeseen circumstances)
- Affordable Membership: Become a member for only $25 per month. To join our Talking Club, sign up for our Talking Club Membership via Patreon. You can choose to pay monthly or annually (and get 2 months for free). I’ll send you an email with all the information you need after you sign up.
- Preparation Topics: Before each session, you’ll receive a topic to help you prepare and make the most of your practice time.
- Interactive format: We start each session with a quick round of introductions. Depending on the size of the group, we may split into different rooms or stay together for a group discussion.

How much does the membership cost?

Yes! If you sign up for the monthly membership plan, you pay month-by- month and can cancel at any time.
Which level of Swiss German do I need?
I welcome learners of all levels to our Talking Club. If you are a complete beginner, you may find it difficult to follow the conversation, but I will make sure that important vocabulary is explained and all your questions are answered.
To make the most of your membership, I recommend you start with one of my beginner courses, study my book or try my self-study course.
How many people are in the group?
It depends! Sometimes, just a handful of people join, at other times, there might be a dozen learners in a call. However, I’ll make sure to create break-out sessions with only 3-4 people in every Zoom call, so you’ll be able to practice speaking in a small and familiar atmosphere.
Which software do I need?
All you need is to install Zoom on your phone or computer to join our moderated Zoom calls. You don’t need to create a Zoom account to join.
